Product Description

Welded stainless steel cookware refers to the handle and the pot body being firmly connected together through welding technology. This connection method is both beautiful and practical.

I. Characteristics of Welded Stainless Steel Cookware
Excellent material:
Stainless steel cookware is made of high-quality stainless steel material, usually containing elements such as chromium and nickel, and has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. The surface of stainless steel cookware is smooth and delicate, easy to clean, not easy to breed bacteria, and meets food safety standards.
High welding strength:
We use advanced laser welding technology to make the welding parts of stainless steel cookware have high strength and good sealing, and are not prone to water leakage, air leakage and other problems. Inert gas protection is used during welding to effectively prevent oxidation and pollution, ensuring welding quality.
Beautiful shape:
Stainless steel cookware can achieve various complex shapes and designs through welding technology to meet the needs of different consumers. The welding parts are flat and beautiful, integrated with the overall cookware, which improves the grade and beauty of the product.
Long service life:
Stainless steel cookware has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, long service life, and can maintain good performance for a long time. The welding parts are not prone to cracking, deformation and other problems, which extends the service life of the product.

II. Welding Technology
TIG welding (Tungsten Inert Gas Arc Welding): This is a high-quality welding method suitable for welding thin stainless steel plates. It uses a non-melting electrode (tungsten electrode) and an inert gas (such as argon) as a shielding gas, which can produce high-quality welds with a small heat-affected zone, and is suitable for welding cookware with precision and high quality requirements.
MIG/MAG welding (Metallic Inert Gas Shielded Welding): This method uses a melting electrode and an inert gas or active gas as a shielding gas. It is suitable for welding medium and thick plates of stainless steel, and has the characteristics of fast welding speed and high production efficiency. However, for cookware with precision and high quality requirements, additional grinding and finishing are required.
Resistance welding: Resistance welding uses the resistance heat generated when an electric current passes through the workpiece to melt the metal and achieve a connection. This method is suitable for thinner stainless steel plates, with fast welding speed and no need for filler materials. However, it should be noted that resistance welding may not be suitable for all types of cookware because it may not provide sufficient strength and sealing.
Laser welding: Laser welding is a high-precision welding method suitable for precision welding of thin stainless steel plates. It uses a high-energy laser beam to melt the metal and achieve connection, with the advantages of narrow weld, small heat-affected zone and small deformation. However, laser welding equipment is expensive and complicated to operate, requiring a technical factory.

III. Handle welding requirements
Choose the appropriate welding method and material: We choose the appropriate welding method and material according to the material and design requirements of the handle and pot body. For example, for stainless steel handles and pot bodies, TIG welding or MIG/MAG welding can be used for connection.
Control welding temperature and time: The welding temperature and time need to be controlled during welding to avoid deformation or damage of the material due to overheating. At the same time, it is also necessary to ensure that the weld is fully melted and forms a good connection.
Check the quality of the weld: After welding is completed, the weld needs to be inspected to ensure its quality. The inspection content includes the integrity, flatness and sealing of the weld. If defects or problems are found in the weld, it needs to be repaired or replaced in time.

IV. Will welded stainless steel cookware rust?
Stainless steel cookware with welded handles usually does not rust under normal use and maintenance. However, in some cases, cookware with welded handles may rust. This is mainly due to the following reasons:
1. The high temperature during welding may destroy the chromium oxide protective layer on the surface of the stainless steel cookware, causing it to lose its corrosion resistance.
2. The heat-affected zone generated during welding may cause changes in the organization and properties of the stainless steel cookware, thereby increasing the risk of rust.
To prevent stainless steel cookware welded handles from rusting, we take the following measures:
We thoroughly clean and degrease the surface of the stainless steel cookware before welding to remove impurities and contaminants on the surface.
Inert gas protection is used during welding to effectively prevent oxidation and contamination.
After welding, the weld is ground and polished to remove the welding heat-affected zone and oxides on the surface.

V. Is welding pot safe?
Welded cookware is safe under proper use and maintenance. The strength and safety of the spot welding of the stainless steel pot handle depends on the welding process and material selection. A qualified spot welding process can ensure that the handle is firm, but care and maintenance are still required during use to ensure safety.
First of all, the strength of the spot welding mainly depends on the welding process and material selection. Under advanced process conditions, spot welding can form sufficient welding strength, so that the handle is tightly connected to the pot body and is not easy to fall off. At the same time, the selection of high-quality stainless steel materials can enhance the ability to withstand high temperature and heavy pressure, and enhance the strength of spot welding.
Secondly, in terms of safety, the spot welding process itself does not pose a safety hazard. However, during use, if the handle is loose or falls off, it may cause accidents such as burns. Therefore, users should check the tightness of the handle before use, and perform regular maintenance and maintenance to ensure that the connection between the handle and the pot body is firm and reliable.

VI. Comparison between riveted pot handles and welded pot handles
Welded stainless steel cookware is rivetless stainless steel cookware. Riveted pot handles and welded pot handles each have their own characteristics. The riveted pot handle connects the pot handle to the pot body firmly through rivets, and the connection is not easy to break, which is suitable for conventional cooking environments, such as frying pans, frying pans, etc. The advantages of riveted pot handles are simple structure, convenient processing and maintenance, but the disadvantage is that the rivets are easy to loosen or rust, and need to be checked regularly.

The welded pot handle is formed as a whole through high-temperature welding. It has a firm connection and can withstand large loads. It is especially suitable for pots such as woks and baking pans that need to be used at high temperatures for a long time. The advantages of welded pot handles are high connection strength and good sealing, but the disadvantages are that the welding points may break due to thermal expansion and contraction, and it is difficult to disassemble and repair.

When choosing, it should be decided according to the use scenario and needs of the pot. For high temperature and heavy load environments, welded pot handles are more durable; under normal cooking conditions, riveted pot handles are a more suitable choice.
