Production process of Enameled stainless steel cookware

Surface treatment: The stainless steel substrate is subjected to surface treatment such as grinding and polishing to remove impurities such as oil and rust on the surface and improve the adhesion of the enamel layer.

High-temperature firing: The stainless steel substrate coated with enamel glaze is placed in a kiln for high-temperature firing. During the firing process, the glaze will undergo a chemical reaction and firmly combine with the stainless steel substrate to form a hard and smooth enamel layer, that is, stainless steel coated cookware.
Quality inspection: The fired enameled stainless steel cookware is quality inspected, including appearance inspection, corrosion resistance test, heat transfer performance test, etc., to ensure that the product quality meets the relevant standards and requirements.

Is Enameled Stainless Steel Cookware Safe?

Under normal use, enameled stainless steel cookware is safe. Enamel glaze is usually made of natural minerals sintered at high temperature and does not contain harmful chemicals. During normal use, enameled stainless steel cookware will not react chemically with food or release harmful substances. However, it should be noted that if the enamel coating is damaged or scratched, the internal metal base may be exposed. Although the stainless steel base itself does not release harmful substances, it may corrode when it is in long-term contact with chemicals such as acids and alkalis, affecting the service life of the cookware.
